This Side Of The Grass
It is a personal and hopefully humorous account of surviving cancer and loss of sight from taking Interferon medication and the adjustments that goes with it. From seven nose operations, radiating the wrong side of my neck, 38 hyperbaric treatments and taking out a rib to stabilize my nose after the septum was removed, I survived with the help of family, friends and colleagues who sent me jokes to keep me positive. Some of these jokes are scattered throughout the book along with funny quips, humorous stories and weird observations. With the help and support of a loving spouse, I am now able to write this book.
